 The Payson Tea Party meets every TUESDAY night from 6:00-7:45 pm, at Tiny’s Family Restaurant in Payson (600 E. Tuesday, January 9th, 2018: Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant.  Mr Ron Chambless of Community Center Partners will present details about the new Master Plan for Rumsey Park, options for placement of the proposed Community Center, and the effects of the Prep Academy.  Bring your neighbors to hear his presentation and ask your questions.

Tuesday, January 16th, 2018: Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant. We will preview the upcoming exciting election cycle.  Not only candidates, but referendums and initiatives will be placed on the Primary and General Election Ballots.   Please bring friends with your ideas to help us plan programs/speakers for 2018.  We remind you that the Payson Tea Party invites citizens of all political bents to participate in discussions on the issues.

Thursday, January 18th, 2018:  Town of Payson Special Town Hall on Ice Hockey Prep School and associated Community Center at Rumsey Park. 5:30 pm, Church of the Nazarene on Tyler Parkway.

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018: Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant.  Speaker is Arizona State Treasurer candidate Kimberly Yee.  Mrs. Yee is currently the Arizona Senate Majority Leader and represents Arizona’s 20th Legislative District, N/W Phoenix and parts of Glendale.  Among her many accomplishments, Mrs. Yee served on the executive team of Arizona State Treasurer Dean Martin where she promoted fiscal conservative principles to protect taxpayers.  In the Senate she serves on the Joint Legislative Budget Committee and on the joint Committee on Capital Review.  She previously served on the committee on Finance, Judiciary and Elections.  She also serves on the Senate Education Committee.  Come hear Mrs. Yee’s presentation and question her on her qualifications for AZ State Treasurer.  (note:  Congressman Paul Gosar previously scheduled for this date was called out of the country and will reschedule on his return).

 Tuesday, January 30th, 2018: Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant.  Speaker is Michael Gibbs, Deputy Director of the Arizona Tenth Amendment Center will present a program on the Bill Of Rights, aka the first ten amendments to the US Constitution.  He will also tell about the work of the Tenth Amendment Center.

Tuesday, February 6th, 2018: Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant.  Andrea and Dwight Kadar from Concerned Citizens for America (out of Sedona) and MATFORCE, will update us on the proposed Recreational Marijuana Initiative that will likely be on the ballot next General Election.

Tuesday, February 13th, 2018:  Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family RestaurantTwo  speakers tonight.  First Jeff Aal of the “Transparent Payson” group,  will share the attempt to place two Payson initiatives on the voters Ballot allowing citizens to vote on contracts and/or long term leases that have a financial impact on the town.  Secondly, we have Jim O’Conner, candidate for Arizona Corporation Commission sharing why he should be elected to serve as one of the commissioners who dictate our utility rates among other things.

Tuesday, February 20th, 2018:  Pa yson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant.   Speaker is Michael Gibbs, Deputy Director of the Arizona Tenth Amendment who will present a program on the Bill of Rights, aka the First Ten Amendments to our US Constitution, authored December 15th, 1791.  These rights are what set our US Constitution apart and protect the citizens from overreach of Government.  Mr. Gibbs will also tell us about the work of the Tenth Amendment Center.

Tuesday, February 27th, 2018:  Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant.  Speaker is candidate for Arizona Secretary of  State Lori Klein Corbin, who will present her platform and answer questions regarding her campaign.

Tuesday, March 6th, 2018:  Payson Tea Party: 6:00-7:45 pm, Tiny’s Family Restaurant.   Speaker is Mark Spenser, South West Project Coordinator for Judicial Watch.  Mark facilitates investigations, development and community outreach, media relations, FOIA requests and litigative support for the non –partisan non-profit government accountability group.
